My Bavaria dream came true in November of 2014. Bring a Trailer featured one on their new auction format and this particular car appealed to me for several reasons. It was only 30 miles away, a 3.5 and five speed had been swapped in, it had only a little superficial rust, and the overall condition was quite good. After some frantic moments at the end of the auction, I had it for what I think was a reasonable price. I have since gone through it and fixed number of issues. There is more to do - thankfully - and I am enjoying every last minute of the journey. What a great driver's car! The sound of the engine at speed is pure joy.
